Exactly MY take ... then again, as a former journalist (now editor, heh) I kinda think that THIS particular debate (though side-tripped to the economy for a third of it) was McCain's "gloryhole" since his thing has always been "nuke auslanders until they glow" ... gotta admit that for a debate that was supposed to BEAT Obama into submission, he didn't catch fire, fall over, and sink into the swamp.BOTH were as boring as the damned "Emmy" or "Golden Globs" award shows, but this particular debate should have had Obama looking like an asshole. It failed to do so. In the end, looks like everybody seems to think THEIR guys did well ... so in poker terms, a "push" ... Ah well ... Palin's up next ... sure hope Katie Kuric falls down a flight of stairs and fails to show. :) |

NOBODY uses them, the two bikers STILL ride in traffic, but I guess the good news is that nobody's gonna wear OUT the sidewalks we now have (at high expense) by USING them. :-\There's MANY places where people actually NEED to walk - out here where I am is not ONE of them. When maybe four cars per hour in the afternoon come by, no problem hearing them coming, and stepping aside to let them pass. |
