Actually, Steve, Ike sent "advisors" to South Viet Nam in early 1959. You are correct when you said "John F. Kennedy that began the escalation in Viet Nam". There is plenty of blame on both sides in that sorry chapter in our history.If you look at the American Revolution from the British perspective, our Founding Fathers are traitors. |
