She's engaged in an incestuous relationship with her brother.
She's committed immigration fraud.
She funnels campaign money to her husband's business.
The winery on which most of her declared assets are based, DOES NOT EXIST.
Why has she not been stripped of her citizenship and deported?

Having a problem with Omar is different from wanting her expelled.

She should be expelled if a serious allegation against her is proven. So far none of those allegations have been proven.

Suppose Ken Paxton is elected to the Senate but the Democrats win a majority? Would you like the Democrats to expel him because of all the serious but unproven allegations against him?

Suppose an unscrupulous party wins exactly 2/3 of the House. If they don't expel a whole bunch of minority members, in the next special election they'll probably lose their 2/3 majority.

I have no objection to leaving the rule as it is. I'd just hate to see a precedent established where expulsions are done based on dislike rather than proven serious misbehavior.

But then the expelled members or like-minded successors would return in the next special election, so what would be the difference?

Ultimately a party having only a 1/3 minority in a legislative chamber would be so useless that they might as well just resign or practice Sinn Fein-style abstentionism.

I mean look at what's happening with our government now, Democrats are entirely powerless, and the idiot left* complains that the Democrats need to "do something" and are up in arms that the Democrats aren't doing anything, because they don't know how our government works.
