But then the expelled members or like-minded successors would return in the next special election, so what would be the difference?Ultimately a party having only a 1/3 minority in a legislative chamber would be so useless that they might as well just resign or practice Sinn Fein-style abstentionism. I mean look at what's happening with our government now, Democrats are entirely powerless, and the idiot left* complains that the Democrats need to "do something" and are up in arms that the Democrats aren't doing anything, because they don't know how our government works. *But I repeat myself. |
