Newsom's Sanctuary Policy Needs To Go!

Posted by TRAIN DUDE on Mon Aug 18 09:30:51 2025

He snuck across the border from India into california in 2018. He was released on a $5000 bond. Later, the sactuary state of california issued him a CDL. Yesterday, in Florida, he made an illegal u-turn and instantly killed 3 innocent American citizens. Captured on video, immediately after the incident, he is seen getting out of his truck showing no emotion whatvso ever. Florida officials state that it will be a very long time before ICE officials can deport him. He gets to stay after all.

Absolutely horrific. In deference to Dave from the Metroplex and Spider-Pig, both of whom I believe practice(d) law as attorneys or clerks, the following is of course not intended to make light of a heart wrenching situation.

Defense Lawyer: "Thank you all for being here. I will make a brief statement but as this is an ongoing investigation I regrettably will not be able to address any questions. First and foremost, this is a tragedy. I ask the public not rush to judgement based solely on media reports. Every citizen, irrespective of legal status, is presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law, not in the court of public opinion. My client maintains his innocence and we fully intend to take this matter to trial and mount a vigorous defense because he is innocent of these charges. We are fully cooperating with the relevant authorities and once the investigation is complete and all the evidence is examined we remain confident our client will be fully vindicated and can begin to put his life back together and move forward as a productive member of society. Our hearts and prayers are with the deceased during this difficult time. Thank you."

Precisely, save for the fact that the video being shown was the driver's own dashcam showing his and his passengers actions before, during and after the crash. GUILTY!!!

He did not “sneak across the border,” he had a work permit.

California does not issue CDLs to people without status. Nor does any state.

In NY, proof of employment (with need) is required every 2 years for a CDL. Not only do you need the skill, you need to pass ongoing tests ( including urine tests for illegal substances) to renew a CDL. Otherwise, you get promoted to plain vanilla driver. A friend lost his CDL when he shifted to indoor tech from remote engineering at a local TV station He had to drive a 40 ft rig around).

If you have to ask twice, there's no proof.

“All applicants for an original, renewal, upgrade, or transfer of their CLP/CDL must submit proof of legal presence in the U.S. as authorized under federal law.”
