OK, it's bad judgment. But I don't think she had intent to do bodily harm. Some others in the mob much more likely had. If you're wielding something like a tire iron, it's really easy to use it on a person who's trying to stop you.

A tire iron is definitely a weapon if it is being used as a weapon. And shooting someone coming at them with a tire iron is the same as shooting someone coming at you with a gun. My question is what did Ashley Babbitt specifically do to indicate to officer Byrd that deadly force was needed to subdue her. If she had any weapon and was going after Byrd making a direct threat on his life, then fine. But that was not the case.
