They have many available locations, are making appointments available a few days in advance, and have appointments available many hours after they post a new batch. You also get your second appointment at the same time as your first.

The Trump administration had the pharmacies vaccinate only congregate facilities like nursing homes.

What was the delivery schedule? Here's delivery schedule for the 400 million doses the Trump Administration purchased. As you can see, only 115 million doses were scheduled for delivery by Mar 31st. That's enough for only 57.5 million people. Only 45 million doses (22.5 million people) were scheduled for delivery, when the Biden Administration took over. The Biden Administration invoked the Defense Production Act to get the vaccine manufacturers supplies they needed. That's the major reason that the vaccines purchased by the Trump Administration had had an accelerated delivery schedule. I've already mentioned the problem of getting the vaccine from the shipping dock to the point of delivery.

You said you were getting the first shot last week. Those were purchased distributed and delivered through the revamped Biden programs. Those include the shots at pharmacies for qualified members of the public level 1a-c currently in NY. Another program utilizes National Guard to run the large centers, which increased their efficiencies by magnitudes. All are Biden programs. Face face,trump dropped the whole thing after getting vaccine to nursing homes.

His advice was take the first one offered which my wife and I did. We each got our first shot of one of the first two to be approved. By the way, when I got my shot yesterday, they had an epipen at the ready if there was a reaction.

They had a mass vaccination site set up in parking lot of the Arizona Cardinals football stadium. Everything was smooth from registration to check in to the actual vaccine to scheduling the 2nd dose. So far a week in I've noticed no side effects. I've heard the second dose is worse (it was Pfizer).

It's the way they use as much of the excess as possible.

I know it might be lying but one who really wants to get the vaccine would have to be an idiot not to sign it. Besides, with the list of comorbities almost everyone has at least 1 anyway. I'd say more than half of Americans have a BMI over 30.

My doctor sent a letter I printed out and brought with me. Could have just shown them the list on my iPad too. Percentage of BMIs over 30 vary regionally, over all I think the average is 30%-ish. Don't doubttraitor dude falls into that, what with his obsession about donuts and sedentary living.

Roughly comparable side effects for each shot. Very tired all day Monday, and randomly tired Tuesday and Wednesday. Sort like a mild flu.

So either it's not happening upstate, or else it's happening upstate and you don't know it. I know several people downstate who have gotten vaccinated by individual medical groups. All of them met the eligibility criteria.
