He's not charged with not being on his property. He's charged with murder, reckless use of a weapon, attempted murder, and possession of a weapon by someone under 18. I've seen video of him fighting a girl. He may also be a right wing nut and maybe even a racist. He probably broke some gun laws and maybe some curfew laws, but he very likely did not commit 1st degree murder. Videos show him being chased and attacked immediately before each shooting. Yeah he shouldn't have put himself in that situation, but self-defense doesn't need him to prove that he made good decisions up until his life was threatened. If the roles were reversed and he was a left wing counter demonstrator to a white supremacist rally that was chased and attacked by white supremacists, many in this thread would consider him innocent. For them, guilt or innocence depends not on the facts of what happened, but what side he belong to and whether or not he was thinking correct viewpoints. |
