It is indeed common sense, but the president often doesn't operate with such. Fred is correct in that while the POTUS denounces racism and related violence... It's quite lukewarm, and it's clear that he's simply going through the motions not much different from when he finally disavowed the KKK after the press wouldn't let up. We know that when Trump disagrees with something and/or doesn't like it... He comes out with much passion. However, when it comes to incidents like the New Zealand murders and such... He gives a very weak thoughts and payers type of response.

No, it diminishes the voice of the people, who, in this time (which BTW Is NOT the eighteenth century), live in concentrations along the coastlines and the borders to a lesser extent. They see less representation as their elected officials serve larger numbers than the unpopulated rural areas. In the modern world, we fly over them because they are unpopulated and vast. Saves time.
