Soybean. Canola. Palm. Corn. Grapeseed. They're called "Industrial seed oils" or ISO's. If you look at Dunkin Donuts, McDonald's, or any fast food, ISO's are a major source of fat. But when things go wrong, we automatically blame animal fat and point out that these oils are "cholesterol free" and endorsed by the American Heart Association. I'm running another dairy test.My only dairy is goat cheese and grass-fed butter. It's hard to eliminate dairy. It played an important role in evolution. There is no industrial seed oil in my diet. That's the hardest thing to avoid in America. |

At one point I'd grab coffee at DD each morning on my way to work. Once a coworker had mentioned the doughnuts, and I had to say that I truly don't see the donuts.
