It doesn’t surprise me that many Republicans/conservatives want him to be innocent or that many democrats/liberals have already decided that he’s guilty. What is really disturbing is the idea among many that if you don’t accept that he is guilty because he has been accused that you are anti-woman. That it’s anti-woman and victim shaming to ask for proof. With the me too movement being accused is the same as being guilty. And most out here are ok with that. |

What do you mean by "guilty?"His guilt or innocence of any criminal act is not under consideration by the Senate. All that is under consideration is whether he is suitable to be appointed to the United States Supreme Court, for which the ethical standards are far higher than for the Presidency. For example, President Trump has never been accused of any crime. But surely you wouldn't want to see him (or Bill Clinton, for that matter) appointed to the Supreme Court, would you? Or Senator Bob Menendez of New Jersey, who was not convicted of any crime either? |
