What do you mean by "guilty?"

His guilt or innocence of any criminal act is not under consideration by the Senate. All that is under consideration is whether he is suitable to be appointed to the United States Supreme Court, for which the ethical standards are far higher than for the Presidency.

For example, President Trump has never been accused of any crime. But surely you wouldn't want to see him (or Bill Clinton, for that matter) appointed to the Supreme Court, would you? Or Senator Bob Menendez of New Jersey, who was not convicted of any crime either?
