Adopt need blind admissions policies so income is not a factor in decisionmaking. Test scores are an issue there is no easy solution to, but some of the onus should be on the high school when they have a student whose test scores exceed what is normal for the school to make the university aware. Maybe it is just me, but regarding the SAT, if I see a 1400 from a school whose best students rarely score above 1100 that says a lot more to me then a person who got a 1500 from a school I regular see perfect scores from. |
