Never understood that myself.

To a much lesser extent never understood how some of thse celebrities (Tiger Woods) of the world get married so soon and getcaught cheating with dozens of women. You got gfopies throwing themselves at you left and right. Stay single and sleep with who you want guilt free.

If they maintain his bail. Upon sentencing, they can and apparently will resc8nd it. He's going to do some time, I doubt it'll be more than a year or so after a sentence of 3-5 and eons of parole/suspension. Older people are tricky, as they have to weight the cost of healthcare to the taxpayers in a case like his. He supposedly has some chronic medical condition, I don't know what but have heard he isn’t well.

I think differently. He'll do some time. Not as much as if he was younger. He'd get a ten year sentence. This is too serious to suspend. I think it'll be 3-5, with parole after 18-RW months. He'll probably have a lifetime of parole/supervision ahead...the only thing he has going for him is his age.

I'm not so sure about that. Pennsylvania is not a lenient state for criminal defendants, especially when sex crimes are involved. The prosecutor has already indicated he will seek to have Cosby pay the Commonwealth for the cost of the trial, and the charges Cosby was convicted of, are serious felonies. That said, it's unlikely that the judge will give Cosby the full ten years on each of the three counts, instead, Cosby will probably do somewhere between three and five years, plus probation and sex-offender registration.

If he gets just one or two years, he might serve his time at the county lockup, rather than one of Pennsylvania's dreaded state prisons. However, he will get jail time. Any appeals he brings, will be litigated while he is behind bars. Oh, and in Pennsylvania, inmates can be forced to pay for their incarceration, as well.
