I see it like this. The people that support black lives matter understand that all lives matter, but also understand that not everyone agrees or understand that black lives matter. That there is an urgent situation where black men are killed by police and the general public responds “well he must have been doing something”.You can disagree on the urgency, but it’s unfair to suggest that they don’t appreciate that all lives matter. I saw a protest yesterday against the bombing of Syria. They had signs asking for peace in Syria. Should they instead have signs asking for peace everywhere? |
