In a rail related subject, Reading and Northern railroad recently made a huge contract with the country of Ukraine 4 anthracite coal in the Pennsylvania mining regions which are going to last for decades. That's one example. I believe there's several thousand jobs coming back for that |

It's all hard cold reality, which trumpers have a very very difficult time grasping. The only thing that can be said for trump is that his economic team decided to leave everything alone and do nothing. It is to their credit that trump hasn't fucked it all up.....yet.All trump's done is make America Gilead again. Which sucks for you all.....before much longer there's going to be the need for 43 million workers as the remaining babyboomers retire.....and nobody of working age able to fill those position besides women that you trumpers hate. Or immigrants, which you trumpers hate so you won't let them come to this country. I heard once trump whining about how western Europeans don't immigrate anymore......simple facts are apparent here, they get a better deal, better job, healthcare, family support, educqtion, business support should they decide to start one and standard of living where they are now, why come here? |

Most of those rescinded regulations are being stopped in the courts. Coal isn' coming back, there's no market for it and the few mines seen opening up are for specific purpose ores, mostly for metallurgy. Those mines are automated, mining coal is a known health risk and fiscal liability. What a few hundred men did is now handled by predominately self-driving robots. It's not anything like the employment generator of fifty years ago. In fact NOTHING is like it was fifty years ago, and the sooner that simple fact is recognized the sooner we can get to dealing with the world right now. |

When something doubles from 1 to 2, that's a 100% increase. Doubling from 1,000 to 2,000 is also 100% but is a lot more difficult to achieve. When the Fed opened the spigot to easy money after the 2008 pullback, it made the decision to allocate money from fixed income into equities much easier for institutional investors. |

Proof or shens. Some of the EPA-regulation rollbacks have been halted by the courts but not the majority of rescinded regulations. Just as important, Trump has slowed the pace of new regulations. The number of regulations under development across the government has fallen by one-third since last fall. |
