But honestly, I know other people night not agree with me, but I honestly can't believe in these sleepy little towns in the South, especially in areas where black people did not live, that these statues will put up as a big fuck you to black people. Amy's Appalachian towns, there really aren't any blacks, just poor white trash Hillbillies.

I don't even think they belong in museums. Most of these monuments are mass-produced garbage with no artistic or historical merit. Some of them belong in museums. Most don't.

There are places of this all over the south. If you have ever been to the Amtrak Atlanta station, the "colored waiting room" is quite apparent to anyone who knew of the situation that was once there.

In Southern Railway segregation days, that was mainly the "white" station, and downtown Atlanta had the "black" station.
