I think we should erect statues and monuments to Benedict Arnold. I mean lets not erase history. After all he fought valiantly in Ticonderoga and the Battle of Quebec for the Colonies before he went to the other side.

There are monuments commemorating the good Arnold did fighting for this country.

Confederates fought against this country. It's like erecting a monument to George III on the National Mall.
