She didn't rape anybody. We do not know if Trump actually committed the actions he bragged about in "locker room talk" 3) It actually helps Donald Trump to focus on Hillary Clinton's other issues because talking about what Hillary Clinton said in reaction to Bill Clinton's actions keeps the "Grab 'em by the pussy" tape in the news. If I am the Trump campaign, I would rather have them reporting about the missing e-mails, the comments turned up in WikiLeaks, etc. |

Only three of them were related to "sexual shenanigans" (one with a completely unsubstantiated claim) WRT Bill. The fourth was a crime victim whose perp was defended by Sec Clinton many years ago.Now I have a question for you....who paid the travel expenses for these women? brightbart or the trump campaign? Broddick claimed it wa sbrightbart. That's a crime. |

IAWTP with 1997 being replaced by 1992.If Juanita Broaddrick had come out with her claims in 1991 or early 1992, they would have been incredibly relevant and would have gotten very close attention. It is quite possible that Bill Clinton would never have been elected president. |

Even if Hillary said exactly the words that she is quoted as saying, they could be taken many ways. There is more evidence that Trump called for the assassination of Clinton than there is that Clinton intimidated Broaddrick. |

Broaddrick supposedly took it as intimidation. No independent witnesses.Trump said on TV that the Second Amendment folks might be able to do something about Clinton. What are you smoking? I don't think anyone seriously thinks Trump was making a call for an assasination attempt. If they could he would be behind bars right now. As you point out, there were plenty of witnesses. This is just political hypeWomen's groups, on the other hand, take the attempt to intimidate and/or silence victims very seriously. And as one might imagine, real threats tend to happen when there are no witnesses But the Clintons operate under special rules |

|
Posted by Charles G on Wed Oct 12 17:21:35 2016, in response to Re: Question, posted by AlM on Wed Oct 12 16:29:48 2016. You have quite selectively edited your quotes. Let me help you.AlM: Even if Hillary said exactly the words that she is quoted as saying, they could be taken many ways. There is more evidence that Trump called for the assassination of Clinton than there is that Clinton intimidated Broaddrick. Charles G: I suspect that women's groups would strongly disagree with your interpretation If Hillary said exactly the words she is quoted as saying, women's groups would certainly argue that Clinton was attempting to intimidate Broaddrick. Even if you omit your "Even if..." qualifier, there cannot be more evidence that Trump called for the assassination of Clinton because there is zero evidence that he did any such thing. The statements you reference were made in public and picked up by thousands and perhaps millions of people. If there were any evidence whatsoever that he was actually calling for an assassination attempt, he would be facing charges. When you make statements like that, you've just fallen into the parroting the talking points trap. You're usually better than that. If anything has happened in this evening's discourse, it is that you have attempted to avoid answering the original question I posed to you by attempting to change the subject. It did not go unnoticed. |

People who really need an improvement in their daily position or long- term outlook. Not so much.I agree. But none of the other 21+ candidates would have helped them any more. John Kasich or Bernie Sanders, much less Trump, couldn't reverse globalization and automation. Not that different from Trump in some odd way. Trump might actually push for massive import tariffs. That would be a world economic disaster. Of course, one doesn't actually know and hopefully will never know whether Trump would do that or not. |
