Muslim Stewardess Files Complaint With EEOC
Posted by mtk52983 on Fri Sep 4 15:54:17 2015 fiogf49gjkf0d Muslim Stewardess at ExpressJet Airlines (hereinafter called "Acey") has filed a complaint with the EEOC claiming a deprivation of her Constitutional rights. According to the claim, Acey has begun proceedings to terminate said Stewardess because she refuses to serve alcohol to passengers. Apparently on flights said Stewardess works, a fellow Steward(ess) would serve any alcohol requests. Stewardess claims that this was a reasonable accommodation and that Acey was not justified in taking steps to terminate her.

She's long past marrying age after all. And she isn't going to federal gaol like some people just have. (Seems like reasonable accommodation either way, if true. What if a Jewish flight attendant didn't want to handle pork?) So much that CAIR refuses to answer, right?

I'm surprised you aren't supporting the flight attendant, as you so vigorously supported Kim Davis. Both are claiming religious-belief exemptions from their job descriptions. 2. Kim Davis, OTOH, is an agent of the state, and is expected to follow the Constitution she swore to uphold, religious beliefs notwithstanding. You can't be the government and force your religion on other people, which is exactly what Davis was trying to get away with.

For Kim Davis just change the form to say "Office of the Rowan County Clerk" rather than listing her name. In this case, as Acey removes 50 seat airplanes from its fleet, base the Stewardess in Detroit or a different hub where she will work planes with a second crew member who will serve alcohol. Of course this assumes that both would be amenable to the suggested accommodations. If not I can't think of any other reasonable accommodation. If she is that devout maybe she should consider applying for a job with an airline in a Muslim country or one that does not pose a risk of being the lone Stewardess
