Treating policing like a business. Long prison terms. High rents. The difficulty of legally owning a handgun in NYC. Stop and frisk, applied intelligently. Cell phones. |

When so many cops were on the take and so many drugs moved in by the crime families, it meant high crime. Look at NYPD Officer Michael Dowd. I find it ironic that he was from Brentwood of all places. But you see, he had to be from Suffolk. Had to be. |

I remember you defeated the italianstallion last year in some thread about the urbanization or gentrification of Long Island City or something like that. I remember you told him to quote just calm down unquote and then defeated him. I thought that was pretty good. Have you been to Muscatis Rustica Restaurant yet and if not why not? It serves Old World Italian and is right off Jackson near 21st/Van Alst on the IND Crosstown. I want to try Bella Via at some point. I am tired of eating alone in those Ecuador and Columbia places in Woodside. Pathetic. |

Love the aviation reference.Did you know that corrupt cop Michael Dowd was from Brentwood, LI and lived in a house with a weed covered lawn? NYPD should not hire cops from LI. They have no respect for NYC people. Their only exposure to NYC is when they take LIRR to MSG for Rangers games to get drunk. Right now I'm looking for a fight with AlM, dand124 and Easy about Barack Obama. |

Did you see my post about the confrontation I got into this week with a couple losers in Seattle? I remember you got into an altercation a while back with the streetcarman1 something about the Salvation Army or The Lighthouse something like that. That guy disappears from time to time but when he comes back he attacks you like it's his job. |

Back in the 1970s I remember an incident where an italian-american junkie living in Bath Beach was breaking into homes. He got the mother of all beatings and got the message - for a while. The 2nd beating put him in the hospital, he reformed after that. The old mobsters pushed drugs in places that were already going to hell like East NY, but always through buffers. Nasty business. |

What is inexplicable is that I thought it reasonable to engage you on the subject of La Cosa Nostra and Italian cuisine in the first place. I have no idea what I was thinking and am at a complete loss. It was a stupid decision on my part and I regret it. I am sorry and I apologize. |

The magical WillD is defeating the Broadway Lion in an Oil thread on the other board. He is merciless and it is frightening. To the extent the AlM or A1M is firing salvos against BILLBKLYN in some thread about police brutality I urge you to search for other prey this evening. He will be distracted, it will not be a fair fight, and it will be a hollow victory with no redeeming value. |

Yes, but can you explain why crime is on the rise in Däne?Just this month, a bunch of thieves broke into my commissary and stole all the coolant units from the refrigerators. Apparently they have some scrap value, but in the meantime I had to hire an outside contractor to provide meal service on my premium trains on very short notice and at great expense. |
