high rents have helped. that would be under "gentrification".

But the police and Italians were big part of problem. When so many cops were on the take and so many drugs moved in by the crime families, it meant high crime.

Look at NYPD Officer Michael Dowd. I find it ironic that he was from Brentwood of all places. But you see, he had to be from Suffolk. Had to be.
