Again, that all depends on the actual moment it happens. We all know there are other ways to get that piece of information. If a cop is not sure of the person living there, why to go to another house and ask if they know that person? There are several sections of Little Necks, each with their characteristics. Some homes are very close to each other and some are not. In that area of Queens, most people keep an eye on their follow neighbors to cut down on petty crime. So again, he could of asked someone else on the block. And again, through the use of technology, he could of asked his commanding officer at the pct. house for info details on the car in the driveway and maybe even any records related to the address. |

I mean, I feel like I have to tell you how to do your job? lolI asked for your training, did it just happen at the academy or was it an ongoing throughout your tenure? Sorry you have to feel like you're "defending your honor" as a former cop. But you dropped "the ball" here without prior knowledge that someone on OTCHAT knows and lives in that area that is servered by the 111th. if the alarm is rigged to go to the stationhouse, then someone must have a list of the owner's name. An alarm just does not go off and you don't where, which you did, but it seems odd the pct. did not have a list or did not want to call the alarm company and ask them for the name of the owner. I don't know NYPD protocol on alarms either back then or current. |

Jeff Rosen, when this even happened, did it ever cross your mind at all the a Black American might just be having a "bad day?" Having a bad day is not just a White person's phenomenon, a Black person to can have one. Also, lets say this happened in the early 1980s and then person was in his 40s. That would mean he was born in the 1940s and grew up in a time in America when Black Americans were not looked upon very highly. Maybe he still remembers being told by a cop that he could not vote or could not enroll in a particular school down South. Or was told by a cop to go sit in the back of the bus. Did those thoughts ever cross your mind when you left his house?At the time of your tenure at the 111th Pct, just how many minorities were cops and how many were in positions of management at this 111th? |

There have been numerous times where cops have been proven to be racists, hell we had 2 cops in ferguson, one forced to retired and one fired for racial comments or actions they took. So I mean if this is in a small town, and in Missouri there was such rampant racism in one town that they DISBANDED the ENTIRE police force. Now if you want to play ignore, then feel free, but it doesn't change the truth that there are real racists within police forces throughout the nation and they need to be rooted out. |
