Sorry you have to feel like you're "defending your honor" as a former cop. But you dropped "the ball" here without prior knowledge that someone on OTCHAT knows and lives in that area that is servered by the 111th. if the alarm is rigged to go to the stationhouse, then someone must have a list of the owner's name. An alarm just does not go off and you don't where, which you did, but it seems odd the pct. did not have a list or did not want to call the alarm company and ask them for the name of the owner. I don't know NYPD protocol on alarms either back then or current. |
