The discussion is about grand juries.And in any case, juries actually know less than the public because they can only consider facts that have been entered into evidence by the parties. Those proceedings are public and members of the public can add their own information which the court has found inadmissible or either party has failed to admit for whatever reason. |

Until the suspect is on the ground and searched you cannot just assume he is telling the truth that he does not have a gun. Proper procedure would have been to have the suspect get on his knees or lying face down while keeping hands in the air and have a second officer approach with guns drawn to search the suspect. There appears to definitely have been a breakdown in proper procedure but what I have seen so far does not appear to give rise to Murder charges |
