No, they're the client nation, they dance to our tune or find another sugar daddy. We're always hearing (very rudely) how Israel is so alone in the world, when we're essentially paying for their military. If they want to use that military to commit genocide then let them do it on their own dime, but keep the blood off our hands. If you're such a fan of genocide then maybe you should be lobbying for the British parliament to buck up and fund the IDF as America has. Or like all conservatives do you only support wars paid for with Other People's Money? |

Where in any of the ceasefire proposals from Secretary Kerry did you get the idea that Israel was going to end up giving any land away? It's pretty clear that the goal is to end the bloodshed, which is now heading rapidly toward genocide. I know you have no problem with Israel committing genocide with our defense funding, but I suspect our future servicemen, whose lives you're putting at risk by weakening our stance in the region, would disagree. |

The need to eliminate Hamas's arsenal of rockets and tunnels can still exist while also maintaining that Bibi's premise for war in Gaza could have held more water. |

Because he would've started a war and we would've been in more debt and fighting for reasons that have no direct benefit for our nation. Cause in all reality fighting a war in Ukraine or directly getting involved in Gaza doesn't directly benefit the US domestically or economically. Israel buys all of our military supplies, so long as Israel is in a constant state of war, Israel is a wonderful source of money. If there were peace in Israel, who would buy our arms!?? |

Realistically do you think that Hamas was going to take a ceasefire brokered by the government that basically put all their allies in prison in death sentences? They want the border crossings open, and unless that gets in the equation Hamas will have no problem prolonging this war. They're at war with Israel but they want to force Cairo to open the borders. |

Hamas taxed the goods that came from Egypt at 40%, they lost over $200 million year from that alone. Unemployment is 40%. By attacking Israel Hamas knows that Israel will react a certain way, in a way its a brilliant plan because it DOESN'T FAIL! They know Israel attacking will cause high casualties and the world would be outraged, and they're hoping it forces Israel and Egypt to come to the table with border crossings being reopened. Thats how the rockets will stop, Hamas is all in on this, they'll let Israel keep raising the body count until the outrage forces Israel to add the border crossings, and international aid to rebuild.Hamas is in a situation where this was the only solution. |

I know why, but you have to understand, 40% unemployment, rolling blackouts and no goods coming in, Palestinians are forced to rely on Hamas and believe in Hamas to fix the situation cause Israel and Egypt are suffocating them. So for Israel its damned if you do, damned if you don't. So for Israel's sake, reopen the borders because it weakens Hamas main point, because this time like I told WMATA, Hamas has no problem raising the palestinian body count until border crossings gets added to the table. |
