Perhaps the subtleties are lost on you, Chris but saving jobs and creating jobs are not the same thing. They are not mutually exclusive either. o'bummer has failed to create an environment where businesses want to invest so jobs are not being created. Instead of giving tax credits for companies that sell solar equipment or electric cars, he chooses two companies that fail. $593 million to Solyndra and $193 to Fisker to build Electric cars in the USA. How many jobs did he create for the $786 million taxpayer dollars? How does a net loss of over 1700 jobs sound? Now as a little bridge to Bain Capital, answer me one question - well two really.

1) How much did we give to General Motors that still has not been paid off?
2) How many new jobs did GM create to become more profitable - more accurately, how many jobs did GM have to cut in 2010 and 2011?

Bain Capital is not about creating jobs. Bain is about saving companies and maximizing returns for investors. That's called "CAPITALISM". It's not a dirty word and until we elected the current mope, it was actually respectable. When Bain saved companies, it saved jobs. That's not the same as creating them but just as important. When Bethlehem Steel lost the war with Japan and Korea, how many jobs were lost. Wouldn't it have been far better if a company like Bain came in and streamlined Bethlehem Steel and was able to save half of the jobs that were lost? Certainly, the unions weren't interested in trying. So tell me what Bain did that was so bad? Were they not entitled to make a profit. That's what they were in business for. If you owned stock in Bain, or if your 401K was invested there, I'm certain that you'd want them to make every nickel that they could. So to repeat what you said, Chris - "welcome to the real world!"
