Bain is about saving companies and maximizing returns for investors.Yes, I don't agree and definitely yes. Bain capital is a company that is trying to make itself money. Whoever is in charge of Bain capital is responsible for that ONLY, not creating jobs, not saving companies, not any of that. They're in it to produce returns for their investors, period. Whether or not Bain created jobs is irrelevant. I might disagree with the methods, but the rules of the game let companies like Bain do this all the time. Romney was successful in achieving his goal at Bain. Why would you not want that guy working for you? If you wanted to protect your company from guys like Romney, wouldn't it help to have a guy like Romney working for you? |
