Where does what you said contradict anything I said about Bain Capital, which was what we were discussing?As for the BUSH tax cuts, 2 misconceptions. 1) If the tax cuts were a bad idea, then why did o'bummer embrace them and extend them? If he's a leader and he felt that they were ill-advised, he should have come out and said that he was not extending the BUSH TAX CUTS and this is why. 2) The payroll tax was targeted at the middle class. Since FICA is capped at $106,800 this hardly would have affected those 1%ers anyway but did put a fair chunk of change into the hands of the middle class. Was that a bad thing. Did you bank yours or spend it? |
