Leave it to those who know nothing of how government works to see this as anything more than a political play with the intended results.The REASON why the "President's budget" cannot be adopted by either house of congress is because doing so would completely cede congressional authority. THAT'S why it was zero'd. A pathetic and illegal ploy by our republican friends for solely grandstanding purposes. CONGRESS is supposed to do the budget, the President's "budget request" is nothing more than a request. It is NOT a budget bill. |
