I don't think this will cost him a LOT of votes, but will it suppress turnout, especially down south? Still, this is a disaster for Obama (of his own making) and a boon for Romney:

Note that Romney re-affirmed his commitment to traditional marriage. We shall now see what effect (if any) it has in the polls.
