Source? But if fans don't want to go to Brooklyn, would they rather see them go to Canada instead? I'd hate to seem them go, as they are a uniquely Long Island team. In Brooklyn, they are just ANOTHER NYC team. The Devils are also a NY metro team. How many locations have three hockey teams? Hockey isn't even hugely popular to support so many teams. At least as it is now, it's a "Long Island" team. To have the Rangers in Manhattan, and the Islanders a stone throw away in Brooklyn, with the Devils also so nearby is almost absurd. |
