Islanders haven't been relevant for years finishing either last or near the bottom in the standings. Maybe if they were doing good, and the Rangers or Devils were doing poorly, then there could be some more interest in keeping the Islanders here.Also what makes you so sure the majority of Islanders fans would be so against taking the train vs driving? What's the harm in letting the Islanders play in Brooklyn for a year and see if it works out or not? If it fails then let Canada take them. Charles Wang owns the team, so it is his call on what to do with them. |
