I see "held" here in the same vein as "held pending questioning", and therefore not free to gop. The recent update now confirms what many of us thought - that he was not detained but rather than he was not permitted to proceed. If he remained in the area, it could have been for any number of reasons, including his likely desire to still board that plane or any plane so he could get to where he was planning on going. |
