Paul, in the context of what was reported, was "held" by the TSA, not "from passing through" the TSA screening area. Because Paul refused an additional search, he was most likely "held" pending further investigation. I don't think he was free to leave the airport, nor do I think any reasonable person reading this account of the incident would think Paul was free to go, either. |
