The cops are going to arrest people just on someone's whim with no evidence of an assault? Doubtful.The guy who used to live next door to me got scammed by tenants in his 2-family house. They paid the first month's rent then stopped paying after that. Took him 6 months to get rid of them because they had 2 small kids. The scammers moved out to Brooklyn, then a few months later, moved back to S.I. where they pulled the same scam. I used to think that 2-family homes were exempt from a lot of the tenant protection laws because they are not multiple dwellings, I guess not. |
