So am I.I had to get used to the idea of same-sex marriage myself. I was for civil unions instead. After seeing that nothing happened in places where it was declared marriage including places like Spain, Argentina, etc, I revisited my position and believe in full marriage rights. I can find no reason why I should deny the official sanctioning of the love and commitment of two adult individuals and am glad that it passed by Legislature since I don't believe that there is a federal constitutional right to it. |
