Marriage *is* a sacrament, and one of the few sacraments that all Christian churches lay claim to.Marriage is much more than two people saying that they are in love, or entering into a life-contract. Marriage is the founding of a new family in the house of God. To you. Government has nothing to do with religion though. You can consecrate marriages in the church, but that doesn't mean that a 100% secular union is not a MARRIAGE. |
