The thing is, he could whip the GOP Congressfish into line if he ever went into lion mode. There is a time to be a gentleman President, and a time to be FDR. Roosevelt put on a folksy, down-home charm for the public, but if you recall, Congress didn't give him any sh*t when things needed to be DONE. |
