No, a fetus is a fetus. It's not a viable human life until it reaches a stage where it can survive outside the womb (admittedly, advancing medical technology has brought this age-of-fetus figure downward), at which point it is a baby. A fetus cannot be "alive" in the womb, because medically, it is actually a parasite, getting all of its oxygen and nourishment from the mother.
