He likely ISN'T wrong though ... no bells in the Albany diocese either.But he said "after Vatican II the bells were done away with", after I said they ring the bells. It is NOT true that the bells were done away with. If they were in some places, fine, but "Vatican II didn't do away with the bells, as they are still used. But if he said you don't need a cable box to watch cable, that is ALSO true ... on cable-ready sets, most cable systems still have most of their old analog channels still going strong. You have it backwards, it was HE that said that I was lying when I said that I can watch cable on TV's without boxes. He said that you HAVE to have a box. I explained that with my cable company, I didn't need a box so long as I had a cable ready TV. Of course for more features, and more channels, you need the box to (which I have on other TV's), but he said I was wrong that I am watching cable on some of my TVs without a box..... So in HER case, no cable box and she's fine ... As am I, on the TV's I use less, and don't need all the channels and features on...but tell that to Dan Lawrence.... |
