Well ... sounds like soe of us are fighting over hairs then ... before Vatican II, every diocese had to do things ONE way. After it, options were available and apparently the bells are optional. So it wasn't a fib at all. Perhaps poorly constructed sentence as I do often, but not wrong. The option did not exist prior to Vatican II and his diocese probably changed things at that time, pinning down the date for Dan. However, up to him to explain it, not me.As to cable ... same story. SOME systems have converted everything to digital whereas others are still "transitioning" and retain many old analog channels. By the end of next year, FCC requires that ALL analog channels die. And before you even start, FCC ruled that back in 2005 or 2006 so let's not go off on another of your Obama rants please. If he's on an URBAN Cox or Comcast system, both went all digital last year. Many other systems in "rural areas" have until January of 2012 to do so. Thus, he's not wrong there either. Downstate New York is *NOT* the rest of "America." |
