I don't think that they have the right suppliers for the ingredients ouside the Tri-State area. That can also explain why "NY Pizza" doesn't taste right outside of NY even when it's a NY-area expat running the place.Real cheese and fresh vegetables can be found pretty much anywhere in the U.S. It may be more of a question of volume of sales - if you're constantly selling slices around the clock, you're more likely to use up fresh ingredients before they spoil. |
