Shame the DVD Recorder crapped out like that. As dated as a VCR is, at least you can get a good 5-6 years out of it [3-4 if you use it like almost everyday like i do*]. I just wonder how much space a 6hour tape uses? And when transfering stuff from a tape to a dvd/hard drive, can you select what stuff you want on that 'file' or does the entire thing go in 'as is'?*record something, watch it and either keep the show or tape over it again. funny enough I've taped/watched practically every documentary type shows now that I find myself with no need to record anything anymore [unless it's a new show]. |
