The fact is that Michael Jackson may well be more relavent to most subchatters - more so than Farrah Fawcett and certainly more so than Ed McMahon. SO what does that have to do with my point?Michael Jackson was also more relevant to the rest of the world, where not only was he enormously popular, he also didn't carry most of the negative labels that he has in the U.S. The same people around the world who adored Michael Jackson probably have never heard of Farrah Fawcett, Ed McMahon, or David Carradine. |
