Since I'm an avid sports fan, I am equipped to understand what it's like to get wrapped up in that sort of thing (f'n K-Rod walking Mariano Rivera with the bases loaded !@#$%&), and even sports that don't interest me much I usually pay attention to (I watched the last few holes of the US Open in Bethpage, the last 5 minutes of the NBA Finals game 7, etc), but soccer is unwatchable. It has no juice, no rush, no nothing. If America was to make it to the World's cup final round against FRANCE, I couldn't watch. |
