What choice did they have when subsidies were cut and they were not even permitted to raise the fare to the MTA levels?Under the MTA the fare has DOUBLED and so has the subsidy! If the companies had the same money that the city is giving to the MTA to operate the services I am sure the companies would have been able to accomplish more. |
