Aside from the fact that it's silly to lump people from such diverse backgrounds into a single race, it makes little sense to include people of full European background like your Spanish coworkers or Patty Barreiro in the nonwhite category at all, just on account of the language they speak.Discrimination and sterotyping need neither a racial nor a language basis. No Irish need apply. |
