True but Dean didn't want to do it beyond the four year term. He can say mission accomplished and hand it over to Kaine.I'm disappointed that he wasn't offered a Cabinet position, especially HHS. The cited reason is that he has too many enemies in DC, especially Emanuel and would have had a hard time moving universal health care because of that and his caustic style whereas Daschle is the opposite and also has many friends in both parties. |
