Several years ago I (literally) dipped my finger in Puget Sound, which is part of the Pacific Ocean, just to say that I've been in the Pacific. At various times in the past I've driven very briefly into Mississippi and West Virginia, just to add those states to my "visited" list. And a couple of months ago my wife and I spent 15 or 20 minute in Nuevo Laredo, Mexico* (we walked over the border from Laredo, Texas) just to say we've been in Mexico.* = 15 minutes in Nuevo Laredo is more than enough to last a lifetime, thank you very much My LIRR/NYCT blog |
